Hello Everyone,
We hope you all had a wonderful winter break and are energized for the upcoming quarter. We are very excited about our upcoming events and hope everyone can participate to their fullest extent. As of now we are putting the finishing touches on our plans for the quarter, so our calendar will be updated soon.
Our first meeting is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, January 13th, from 7-8pm. We will be having our events in a new location this quarter, Theater & Dance 1701, which is across the bike path from the Student Resource Building. Our speaker for this event, Christopher Blair, is a very experienced stock market investor. Mr. Blair is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is an active investor and is currently working on his first book. He founded C. Blair Asset Management, a wealth management firm in 1998 based in Greenwich, CT. From 1991-1998, he was a VP and Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley, managing technology funds. Mr. Blair is also an active member of the board of Directors for SickKids Foundation.
For this meeting, Mr. Blair will shed light on the world of investing by touching on his career experiences as well as the state of the market today. As this is our first meeting of the quarter, members and non-members alike are welcome to attend. Food and drink will be served, so bring your friends and come take advantage of Mr. Blair’s insight.
