Chuck Sheldon, the founder and former CEO of Network Hardware Resale, Inc. will speak at the Business Economic Association’s next meeting about career paths and his experiences of building Network Hardware Resale (NHR) from a small business in the mid 1990s to becoming the largest provider of refurbished Cisco routers which brought in about $150+ million in revenue last year. His story should be of much interest to entrepreneurs and just about anyone interested in business. It is a story of success and growth with a winning business idea. The BEA has various meeting days available where small business owners and corporate representatives can come speak to students about their organization. We’re also looking for someone who is interested in handling the billboard portion of our advertising department. Responsibilities include transporting the billboard to and from campus, painting and updating it as needed. Paint and other utilities will be provided as needed. BEA Goes Fishing!
On Friday June 1st, BEA will be renting the Stardust out of Santa
Barbara harbor for a full day of fishing to the islands. Don’t miss
this completely FREE trip to the beautiful Santa Barbara Islands. No
fishing experience is necessary for there will be deckhands helping
you out all day.
BEA will be providing:
-Full Day boat rental (check out boat @ stardustsportfishing.com)
-Fishing License
-Lunch (prepared by boat crew)
-Live Bait
-Pole and tackle rental
-Fish cleaning service
-Transportation to and from harbor
-and an AMAZING time!
This is a long all day trip departing at 6:00 AM; we will be meeting
up at 5:30AM for the journey down to the harbor and coming back around
5PM.
Things to bring:
-Sun block
-Water
-Sun glasses
-Hat
-jacket
I recommend you take Dramamine right when you wake up with your
breakfast. You don’t want to get seasick on this all day boat ride.
And if you do, don’t expect to be able to get back to the harbor before the day’s end.

first come bases, with priority going to paying BEA members.
